Israeli Communications Minister Ayoub Kara collapsed as he entered the Knesset plenum on Wednesday afternoon. He had complained of chest pains minutes earlier.

Arab MK Ahmad Tibi, who is a doctor, rushed over and administered first aid to him.

Tibi is a gynecologist by training.

He was rushed to Hadassah Medical Center in Ein Kerem by Magen David Adom paramedics.

Ayoob Kara is an Israeli Druze politician who currently serves as a member of the Knesset for Likud and as Minister of Communications. He is a loyal supporter of PM Netanyahu.
