SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*IDF soldiers on Sunday night opened fire at Arabs throwing rocks at Israeli motorists near el-Aroub, south of Gush Etzion.

*IDF: Approximately 76 trucks of humanitarian aid and supplies were transferred into the Gaza Strip on Sunday via the Kerem Shalom and Sufah Crossings.

*3 Qassam rockets landed in southern Israel during the night. No injuries.

*GSS Chief Diskin: Egypt has stepped up efforts to prevent weapons smuggling into southern Gaza.

*10 dirt roadblocks were removed in Yehuda and Shomron on Sunday in addition to 50 removed the previous week.

*Day 2 of week-long simulated war exercise around the country.

*PM Olmert and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) scheduled to meet on Monday.

*2 Israelis entered PA-controlled Bet Lechem on Sunday but were extricated without incident.

*A month following attack in Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva, a Torah was completed in memory of the 8 victims.
