After being released from military prison, Yitzhak Meir Aryeh received a valuable gift from his friends and acquaintances, in recognition of his steadfastness against the difficulties in the military prison, where he spent about a month.

Yitzhak Meir Aryeh, who spent 31 days in the military prison, received a magnificent Megillas Esther. The gift was given to him by his friends and acquaintances together with residents of the neighborhood of Bayit Vegan where he lives.

According to them, “Yitzhak Meir Aryeh is a hero worthy of admiration and respect for his steadfastness vis-à-vis the military authorities, by not cooperating and not appearing at the recruitment officials, even though he does not attend a yeshiva affiliated with the Peleg faction.”

“In recognition that he did not break his way despite the difficulties of arrest and sitting in the military prison, we bought him the Megillas together,” they say.

The megillah came in a magnificent wooden case covered with leather, and the cover read: “Mordechai will not kneel or bow down.”

  1. Next, we should lead him through the city on a modern day horse (car) and announce “kacha ya oseh…” unless of course there is a Peleg demonstration at the time.

  2. It’ll be a bit awkward if when he is done batteling he sits down to read it
