The Palestine Legislative Council is moving ahead with a law that will permit placing Israeli war criminals on trial in a Palestinian Authority court.
It appears the PA is taking its lead from the European community, which has in a number of cases prevented senior IDF officers from visiting England, Belgium and other countries for fear of being placed on trial for war crimes against the Palestinian people.
In one case, former IDF Southern Commander Major-General Doron Almog was compelled to remain on a plane after landing in England, when he learned from an Israeli diplomatic official that if he disembarked he would be placed under arrest.
