Police With K9 Backup Nab Northern Jerusalem Burglar In The Act

A burglar was caught red handed early Wednesday afternoon by police and the patrol dog Achilles, in Jerusalem’s Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood.

Police officers were called to a residential address in the Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood following a report about a burglar who escaped from one of the houses after the landlady surprised him when she returned to her home.

Police forces operating in the area, accompanied by Border Policemen and police patrol dogs, began to chase the track in which the suspect fled between the buildings and within minutes he was spotted and stopped by the patrol dog named Achilles, hiding in the bushes.

The 37-year-old suspect was arrested and brought for questioning by the police.
