OUTRAGE: Lieberman’s Election Campaign Groups Chareidim With Hamas And MK Tibi

MK Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of the Yisrael Beitenu party and a former defense minister, launched his campaign for the upcoming Knesset elections. the campaign as was the case in previous Yisrael Beitenu campaigns, does not exclude the chareidi tzibur.

His campaign states “He acts without regard ” pertaining to the chareidim, which in Hebrew is “לא דופק חשבון לחרדים”, which he hopes will bring him votes at the polls.

In the accompanying photo of an election poster from Lieberman’s campaign, he uses the same terminology regarding Hamas and MK Ahmed Tibi, grouping the chareidim with them in a single poster. Lieberman is showing his supporters that he will remain firm regarding a new draft law as he promised he would do, and he will remain tough against Hamas, and against Arab MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi. Regarding a draft law, when serving as defense minister, Liberman stated he would not permit the chareidi parties to amend the law which was approved by then IDF Chief of Staff Eizenkott. He also resigned from his senior cabinet post and from the coalition in protest over the government’s lack of military action against Hamas.

There have been brief interludes during which Lieberman exhibited a willingness to work with the chareidi parties in Knesset, but for the most part, he remains a political nemesis to the chareidi tzibur at large and has always been calling for legislation harmful to the chareidim in Israel.

  1. so he sees the charadim as being terrorists? it is his privilege and as long as we have these religious parties who hold the government for ransom so maybe he has a point?

  2. “Hold for ransom”??!! That’s the name of the game in Israeli politics! How do you think an idiot like Lieberman got to be Defense Minister? It certainly wasn’t for any knowledge or experience in anything, much less in Defense expertise!
