Bnei Brak Resident Flown To Israel From Ukraine Following Serious Crash- In Need of Rachmei Shomayim


A seriously injured car crash victim was flown to Israel from Ukraine on a special flight, and is now hospitalized – and in need of Rachmei Shomayim.

Yitzchak, 31, a resident of Bnei Brak, is the chossid who was seriously injured last week in Ukraine while visiting Kivrei Avos when the vehicle he was traveling in slipped on the ice, overturning multiple times, as reported by YWN-Israel. Yitzchak has been flown to Israel on a special flight as he is now admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Tel Hashomer Hospital.

He was transported on a special medical plane with a staff capable of addressing his condition, with the family asking on the tzibur to please continue being mispallel for: Yitzchak ben Ahuva Shoshana for a refuah shleima bsoch shar cholei yisrael

Two Bnei Brak residents were injured in the accident, and they were treated in Kliniczny Szpital Wojewódzki Hospital before being transported to Israel. Yitzchak’s condition is described being “very serious” as he remains in a medically-induced coma. His friend Avraham Leibush ben Esther Malka, the driver, sustained only light injuries B’chasdei Hashem.

 

Since the operation, Yitzchak has already undergone two operations to stabilize his condition, which is described being “very serious but relatively stable”.

B’chasdei Hashem, Yitzchak took out quality health insurance, permitting his care in the Ukraine and the air transport home. They had to wait three days until doctors were confident enough that Yitzchak could fly due to the complications surrounding his condition. The aerial ambulance left Ben-Gurion Airport close to midnight on Wednesday, and then returned home on Wednesday with the patient.
