STILL BOYCOTTING ISRAEL? Israeli Scientists Say They’ll Have Cure For Cancer Available in One Year

All those Jew-haters advocating for BDS and boycotts against Israel better hope they don’t get cancer. Israeli researchers say that they will likely have a cure for cancer within a year, according to The Jerusalem Post.

Dan Aridor, CEO of Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies Ltd., said his team is developing an anti-cancer drug that will target several mutations in cancer cells using a combination of several-cancer directed peptides. The treatment is called MuTaTo, or multiobjective toxin.

“Our cancer cure will be effective from day one, will last a duration of a few weeks and will have no or minimal side-effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market,” Aridor said. “Our solution will be both generic and personal.”

Aridor, chairman of the board of AEBi and CEO Dr. Ilan Morad, say their treatment, which they call MuTaTo (multi-target toxin) is essentially on the scale of a cancer antibiotic – a disruption technology of the highest order. The potentially game-changing anti-cancer drug is based on SoAP technology, which belongs to the phage display group of technologies. It involves the introduction of DNA coding for a protein, such as an antibody, into a bacteriophage – a virus that infects bacteria. That protein is then displayed on the surface of the phage. Researchers can use these protein-displaying phages to screen for interactions with other proteins, DNA sequences and small molecules.

  1. The boycott advocates are just another form of disguised anti-semitism but please don’t conflate this with a “cure for cancer” within a year. There are several targeted therapies of this type currently available and others in Stage II or Stage III trials that have shown incredibl results but even if this new therapy is sucessful, it shouldn’t be hyped as a “cure for cancer” within a year. It gives false hopes to the hundreds of thousands of cancer victims suffering from forms of cancer that will not be addressed by this therapy. Maybe at some point in the future but this is no a global cure as the headline would suggest.

  2. if they have it, then why wait a year? and if it’s awaiting results from a clinical trial, why say you have it? (you don’t have it yet, you just hope you do)

  3. There are so many Jidden who need this new medical advance
before Esav and Ismaël. Just let them continue boycotting Israel.
Please, stop running after those who hate us and who kill us.
For boycotting Israel, Esav and Ismaël are going to pay a heavy price.

  4. I think the point of this article, and others like it, is to remind the velt of what EY represents, not only in terms of the ONLY nation in the region with democratic institutions but in terms of its GLOBAL contributions to science, industry and commerce. However, its naive to suggest that we can counter a dumb and anti-semitic based economic boycott by withholding scientific breakthroughs

  5. The most important thing in my opinion about this is that for Eretz Yisroel to be an Or Lagoyim it needs to be a smashing success because of chochmas hamiskein bizuya.

  6. Toddah rabbah to Israel and their scientists if and I mean if this is true. Many relatives in my own family have suffered and died horribly from cancer. I am a goy and I am not very religious but b’vah’khah’shah, I will try to davven as my frum friends in Lakewood, N.J. do and ask the Almighty (HaShem) to rid the world of cancer.

May I also thank the Jewish people on behalf of my late mother and father for ridding the world of polio—- Sudan not-with-standing. I can still see the fear in my mom’s face when the polio “season” arrived. The fears, the tears and stress of polio were wiped away by Dr. Jonas Salk—grandson of a famous Talmudic scholar. Toddah rabbah, toddah rabbah to the Jews !!

I’ve often wonder how many more gifts to the world were lost in the Holocaust !!1

Lastly, I must say that I do not like left wing politicians and especially those who profess to be T_rah observant. Two frum friends of mine had interesting advice on my views of left wing Jews. One rabbi said it was risky to slander them and another rabbi said “I don’t like them either, but they have all the money”.

May HaShem bless Israel and the wonderful gifts they’ve given to my mom and dad and to the world–and very, very, hopefully and prayerfully a cancer CURE !!!

A goy, Gerry Mullen B’vah’khah’shah, suggest all Jews do More Talmud T_orah, More Davvening and More Chessed
i.e. MTT, MD, MC !!! Toddah Rabbah, Toddah Rabbah !!

What is “proven” are the monstrous, and barbaric side effects of chemo and radiation, not to mention the astronomical cost. Another thing that is “proven” is the major and most common side effect of these ghoulish “treatments” is cancer. It is “proven” that the same “tech” of c and r have been used almost unchanged for 70 plus years. With all the tech advances in other areas and the medical establishment is still using 70 year old tech on our bodies many times killing the patient before the original cancer does. Cancer patients who do not wish to suffer through the “proven” 70 plus year old tech i assure you are not interested in waiting for the so called “peer reviews”. Look up who funds these anyway. No cancer patient wants to wait for “proof” which is why there are always people willing to do clinical trials before something is “proven”. Hopefully for the sake of all the desperate sick patients it should B’H come out before it is “proven” and they are not just ‘boasting”.

  8. Logicyid, everyone wants a cure for cancer. Even the people who make money off the current treatments are not immune to cancer themselves.

  9. Most people want a cure but not everyone. Otherwise they would not be using 70 plus year old tech that ravages human tissue. No other industry on the planet uses 70 plus year old tech? Surgeries that used to put people out of commission for 6 months to a year, now are much less painful with to 2 to 3 weeks recovery thanks to arthroscopic techniques and advanced materials. There are hundred of thousands of researchers for cancer and not one of these scientists has come up with any new tech in almost 80 years? Highly unlikely, but we all know who signs their paychecks. End of soap box. Hopefully this “new” drug will come before a year to help all these who are suffering.

  10. To Mr. Crarosner:

Thanks for your kind words and please be careful of me–I am a goy and know little if any Jewish law—I do ask several frum friends of mine on occasion about Jewish law. I must mentioned several things to you and other frums as well.

I had driven a very observant frum from Lakewood to Staten Island for therapy on his leg. Some hours later we were in the rabbis house. He asked me if I wan ted something to drink (I am a diabetic ) but said no and he went into
the bathroom. I decided to look in his refrigerator and to my delight found some nice red wine and took a sip—-wow did I catch hell from the rabbi–mu apologies and any such regrets did not satisfy him—I later thought and concluded he was only defending Jewish law—even if I did not know the law !!!

Secondly, A Dr.Irving Weissman is in my opinion on the verge of a momentous treatment of cancer. Dr. Weissman of Stanford University discovered that all cancer cells have a protein called CD-47 on their surface that protects them
from the immune system. Kill the protein and you kill cancer. Recent phase I testing of 22 refractory tumors in patients resulted in over 50% remission–outstanding considering they had had no hope !!! Hooray, to Dr. Weissman and his success. H is my success and the worlds. Toddah rabbah to the Jewish poepol !!

    Gerry Mullen,

    Suggest MTT, MD and MC
