On Thursday, 29 Iyar 5773, Yidden around the world will recite the special tefilla of the Shelah HaKodosh, Rav Yeshayahu Halevy Horowitz. The Shelah wrote that the eve of Rosh Chodesh Sivan is the most auspicious time to recite the tefilla for one’s children.
Women in the community of Beit El are organizing a large tefilla for women, beginning at the Observation Tower at Pisgat Yaakov on Thursday at 17:45. They plan to recite the tefilla at the very same location where it is believed that Yaakov dreamt the dream described in Sefer Bereshis. A lecture will follow, given by Batsheva Kilav “Women’s Dancing, or Prayer in Motion,” at the Beit El Cultural Hall.
