A fire broke out on Shabbos afternoon on the second story of a three-story building in Maale Adumim, resulting in seven persons being injured, two moderately. The cause of the fire was not reported.

The call for the fire came in at about 1:00PM and firefighters combed the building to evacuate the tenants. A 60-year-old and teenager were the moderately injured victims, as they jumped from a second floor leading to fractured extremities.

The others, injured less seriously, were suffering from smoke inhalation. The victims were all transported to Jerusalem hospitals.
