Family Angered at Manslaughter Conviction, Demand Murder Charge For Arab Who Murdered Israeli Women

There was anger and a ruckus outside a Nazareth courthouse on Tuesday morning, February 19, 2019, as family members of Tehila Nagar A”H, 31, who was murdered by Ra’ad Roshrosh, a Christian Arab, was convicted of manslaughter and not murder. In December 2016, Ra’ad, a 29-year-old Israeli citizen, stabbed her to death.

At the scene of the trial, the victim’s family become outraged when they learned that the charge of murder was taken off the table, replaced with the lesser charge of manslaughter, of which he was convicted. The family demanded reversing the deal and to revert back to the original murder charge.

There was a protest by family members outside the court as they gathered in a showing of support for one another, and as seen in the accompanying Ynet video.

The prosecution tried to explain that it would be difficult getting a murder conviction since the evidence is circumstantial.

Tehila Nagar’s body was dumped in a ditch along Route 90. The signs on her body indicated she was beaten and tortured prior to her death. It was established that she had indeed been beaten and tortured, including her nails being torn from her fingers before her head was smashed with a rock.

According to authorities, the motive for the brutal slaying was the fact that Tehila’s family filed a complaint with police against him two weeks earlier, alleging he was abusing her. She did not press charges and he was subsequently released.

  1. The heart bleeds seeing the pain of the family. However, the writing was on the wall, and I hope other Jewish girls will learn the lesson that if they get involved with Arabs, this is what can happen to them. For the Arabs, the culture of violence is the norm. Pere Adam is what the are, not the beast like man, but a manlike beast. May G-d avenge her blood speedily in front of our eyes mamesh.
