TEHILLIM: Significant Deterioration in the Condition of Chief Rabbi of Bnei Brak, HaGaon HaRav Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau

Chief Rabbi of Bnei Brak HaGaon HaRav Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau Shlita is reportedly in need of tefilos as the 84-year-old Av Beis Din’s condition has taken a sharp turn for the worse. Rav Landau is listed in “very serious” condition in Laniado Hospital in Netanya and he is in need of Rachmei Shomayim.

The rav was hospitalized in Shevat 5779 in Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer after suffering a “neurological incident”, some type of stroke, and since this, he has not recovered or returned to his previous status.

This year, the rav did not make the traditional yahrzeit seuda for his father, HaGaon HaRav Yaakov Landau ZT”L, who preceded him as Rav of Bnei Brak. That event was usually held in the Pa’amei Yaakov Beis Medrash on Yechezkel Street in Bnei Brak.

Rav Landau’s family is reportedly around him in Laniado, calling on the tzibur to be mispallel for Moshe Yehuda Leib ben Chaya Mina bsoch cholei am yisrael.
