Israel Police on Thursday held a special community and police day at the N’vei Tzvi-Tikva school in the center of Jerusalem.
The faces of the excited students were received by police from the various police units and the Jerusalem district, including the bomb squad, K9, traffic police, mounted units, and a representative of United Hatzalah.
Ruti Stern, the principal of the school, thanked the NCO and the station and noted: “I have never seen the students concentrate so much.”
Police officials said, “This is another important step in the ongoing process led by the police in order to strengthen the connection and involvement of the police among the population, and the opportunity to present police to the children towards getting to know the policemen closely, which is vital and imperative in every respect.”
