Leading a diplomatic team in Washington this week, Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz met with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, emphasizing the growing threat emerging from Iran.

The former IDF chief of staff stated that Israel will not tolerate or permit a nuclear Iran, stating despite American assessments, Tehran could have a nuclear bomb within a year.

“Tehran leads the axis of evil in the world,” stated Mofaz, stressing the need to act immediately, to stop the ongoing nuclear enrichment program that will present a threat to the free world.
