A major fire broke out during the night, in Tiveria, across from the tziyun of Rav Meir Baal Haness.

A major was reported in Tiveria during the night. The fire began during the predawn hours on Thursday, with fire department scene commander Itzik Ben-Chamu reporting the fire was in the Salina Club, with five fire apparatus responding to the initial call.

The fire occurred after the club was closed, and there were no injuries reported. The fire resulted in heavy damage to the site.

An arrest was made by authorities on Thursday morning, a 20-year-old resident of the city believed to have been involved in starting the fire. Additional arrests are expected according to the police. According to the preliminary investigation, the motive appears to be a business dispute involving known criminals. However, Mayor Ron Kobi, who never misses an opportunity to blame chareidim, launched a live Facebook chat and posted, “Dark criminal forces of criminals and of religion in a price tag attack? Violence? We will not give up. Tiveria will not return to the dark ages. We need 1000 partners her so that the public understand that we mustn’t give in to chareidi coercion in a country that backs itself with criminals”.
