Body Of A Technion University Student Who Was Missing In Ethiopia Recovered


The body of Ayah Nemanah, an Israeli woman missing in Ethiopia, has been discovered.

According to the report, the 21-year-old Israeli woman and Technion University student has been missing in the Salt Desert area of Danakil, Ethiopia. She was part of a team from Technion, and she seems to have lost her way. Her body was found at the bottom of a large cliff, with officials reporting she appears to have been lost and then fell off the cliff.

The Foreign Ministry on Sunday reported: “We are sorry to announce the body of the young missing Israeli, Ayah Nemanah, who got lost during a hike in the Salt Desert in Danakil in Ethiopia, has been found. The Israeli consul in Addis is working with local Ethiopian authorities. The Foreign Ministry take part in the sorrow of the family and is assisting in bringing the body back home for burial in Israel as soon as possible”.

Technion University: “Unfortunately, student Ayah Nemanah was missing since the morning hours. She was part of a course in the state together with other students. The course ended on Wednesday, and after completing it, six students, including Ayah, decided to remain for a hike during which she got lost”.
