Shin Bet Arrests Two Israeli Arabs For Joining ISIS


The ISA (Israel Security Agency/Shin Bet), working with Israel Police, last month arrested two residents of the Israeli Arab municipality of Tamra, located in the Lower Galil, on suspicion of activities against security forces and the state on behalf of the ISIS.

Security forces arrested Amin Yassin, 22, a medical student in Slovakia and Eli Armush, 28, on suspicion of operating on behalf of ISIS, including the spreading of the extremist Islamic ideology to others. They also downloaded many ISIS filed to their computers including instruction pertaining to warfare and perpetrating terrorist attacks towards the implementation of jihad at the appropriate time.

Criminal indictments were filed against the two on Thursday, August 22, 2019.
