Person R”L Killed After Vehicle Slams Into Parked Bus In Beit Shemesh


A person was R”L killed in Beit Shemesh on Sunday morning.

Police say that a vehicle slammed into a parked bus on Rashi Street in Beit Shemesh close to 1:00AM Sunday morning. Magen David Adom reports that paramedics on the scene attempted to resuscitate one occupant, who was eventually pronounced dead on the scene. Two males in their 30s were transported to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem with light injuries.

United Hatzalah EMT Kobi Lazerovitz and MDA EMT Eldad Bernstein were among those operating on the scene, explaining it was clear immediately that the vehicle slammed into a parked bus.

“There was a man about 40 in the rear seat who was unconscious. We got him out and began CPR. He had a serious head injury. Advanced life support was performed by paramedics. He was pronounced dead on the scene” they explain.

The identify of the victim was not available.
