Police in Bat Yam on Thursday arrested a suspect who allegedly tried to stab two women in a lawyer’s office.

Police report the call arrive in the morning hours for an attempted stabbing in a law office on Rothschild Street in Bat Yam. Police and EMS were dispatched to the scene.

Police learned that the suspect came to the office and attacked two women as he tried stabbing them with a knife. He did not succeed in stabbing them before fleeing the scene.

Police got a description of the suspect and within a short period of time, arrested a 59-year-old resident of Tel Aviv. The motive for the attempted stabbing was not explained at the time of this report.
