PHOTOS: Bnei Brak: Sunday Morning Fire Leaves A Family Of Six Homeless

A fire that broke out in a residential apartment on Eliyahu HaNavi Street in Bnei Brak on Sunday morning has left parents and their four children ages 4 months, 3.5, 6, and 8 homeless. In addition, all of their belongings have been destroyed.

City officials are working to assist the family, which is left with nothing. Efforts to raise money and gather necessary items are underway by officials. Within an hour, a table and chair, radiator, blankets, two beds, sofa, a burner with four flames and other items arrived to assist.

The fire began in the living room of the home. The family was at home and the mother B’chasdei Hashem reacted quickly and gathered the family and they got out, preventing injury or worse.

Shimon told the media his brother is an avreich kollel, and his wife is home taking care of the four children. He explained that now they have nothing, not even a place to sleep on Sunday night.
