Gedolei Yisrael Shlita, headed by HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein Shlita on Tuesday call on the tzibur to be mispallel for HaGaon HaRav Meshulam Dovid Solovechik Shlita, whose condition has worsened and is in need of Rachmei Shomayim.
HaRav Shimon Yosef Meller, the mechaber of the sefer ‘Beis Brisk’, visited with Gedolei Yisrael on Monday night, explaining the condition of the rav and the need for tefilos.
The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for Rav Meshulam Dovid Halevi ben Alta Hendel bsoch cholei yisrael.
The rav was hospitalized on more than one occasion of late, and as reported, at present, he has taken a turn for the worse.

? does anyone need a signature of a godol to approve davening for a a yid ( a tzadik) who is ill? confused? i understand putting up signs but why signatures
