A flight heading to the Ukraine from Tel Aviv was delayed this morning due to the “unruly behavior of the chareidim on board” Israel Radio reports. A number of arrests were made.

10:10:

Soldiers operating in the Hebron area during the night were targeted with firebombs. B’chasdei Hashem there were no fatalities or injuries.

10:30:

Due to US President Obama’s decision to delay action against Syria, the IDF has stepped down from alert status in northern Israel.

10:50:

Police during the night were searching Har Nof and Givat Shaul for an escaped psychiatric patient who evaded their custody. The suspect was apprehended near Kfar Shaul Hospital.

11:20:

23-year-old Jerusalem resident Barack Zakaim was indicted on charges of stabbing an Arab taxi driver in the legs and back.

11:45:

Dor Oved, who is serving prison time for price tag attacks, was indicted for sending a death threat to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu over his decision to release Arab terrorists from prison.

12:29:

The Russian Defense Ministry reports it detected the launch to two ballistic missiles in the eastern Mediterranean. IDF officials report they are unaware of such a launch in the area.
