Even Israels Ministry of Tourism agrees that Yerushalayim is number one among tourists and the capitals sites are a major tourist attraction.
According to the ministry, 75% of visitors to the capital will visit attractions in the Holy City, with the Kosel leading the list (64%), followed by the Rova (Jewish Quarter (54%), and then Har HaZeisim (Mount of Olives) 38%.
The study was commissioned to assist in a new project, a volunteer unit of elderly participants committed to preserving the citys tourist sites, their cleanliness, security, accessibility to the disabled and other pertinent details that that might contribute to their future integrity and success.
