A 40-year-old resident of Bnei Brak was struck by a taxi cab traveling in reverse on Tuesday. He was seriously injured and transported to the trauma unit of Tel Hashomer Hospital.

At about 10:30am, the victim was crossing Rabbi Akiva Street in a legal crosswalk when suddenly, a taxi cab traveling in reverse struck him, resulting in serious head injuries.

Hatzolah responded and provided initial care before the victim was transported from the scene. The driver was detained by police for questioning. (Yechiel Spira – YWN Israel)
