After a year during which HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein refrained from holding kabalas kahal due to the pandemic, thousands arrived for “kabbalas pnei rabo” at his home in Bnei Brak on Monday, the first day of Chol Hamoed in Israel.
The Rosh Yeshiva, who sat behind a plastic partition, greeted each visitor with a Gut Moed.
The Rosh Yeshivah’s household members stated that kabalas kahal is being held after Mincha, which starts at 1:30 p.m. and after Maariv, which begins at 7:45 p.m.
