A senior health expert said on Thursday that Israel’s coronavirus spread is currently one of the highest in the world, Ynet reported.
The report comes as the Health Ministry confirmed over 600 seriously ill coronavirus patients on Thursday morning, the number that the Health Ministry earlier this month determined as the threshold for a lockdown. Since Israel’s hospital can only properly treat 1,200 seriously ill COVID patients, over 600 patients mean that the hospitals will be at maximum capacity within weeks.
Prof. Ran Balicer, a senior medical advisor to the coronavirus cabinet, thinks that Israel can even reach 1,200 seriously ill patients within days as it is currently averaging about 100 new seriously ill COVID patients per day.
“Infection data in Israel today is among the highest in the world, with around 90 to 100 new serious patients a day,” Prof. Balicer told Ynet. “These are very complex numbers because 100 new serious patients a day is a huge burden on the health system and therefore a cause for concern.”
Balicer added that the spread of the virus has slowed in Israelis over 60 due to the booster shot but it’s not enough to stem the tide. “In the last two days, we have seen a real slowdown in the number of new infections among people aged 60 and over, most of whom are vaccinated with the third vaccine dose,” he said.
“This is important because it is the age group from which most severe cases are originating, but still, 100-90 severe patients a day means the healthcare system is still at risk.”
Israel is expected to expand its booster shot campaign to all Israelis 12 and older beginning next month as preliminary research shows that the third vaccine has a significant effect on preventing serious illness and transmission of the virus.
Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz wrote on Twitter this week that he left Assaf HaRofeh Hospital in shock after seeing young seriously ill coronavirus patients who weren’t vaccinated, adding that the doctors told him that if these patients had been immunized they definitely wouldn’t be seriously ill.

There are currently 62,163 active coronavirus cases in Israel, of whom 603 are seriously ill and 106 are ventilated The Health Ministry confirmed 17 virus fatalities on Tuesday and four on Wednesday, raising the total death to 6,726.

More fear mongering of course. The variant is caused by insufficient gained immunity professed to exist because of the fabulous money-making ‘shot-in-the-arm, shot in the foot’. This experimental gene therapy injection essentially weakens the immune system and leaves its recipients susceptible to new strains or variants much more than if allowing the body’s natural chemistry and immune system to respond on its own or with a sensible healthful approach. WiFi, 5G and glyphosate (the ‘non’ that’s implied in ‘non-GMO’) exposures also don’t help!
I have the pfizer vaccine. Does this not sound strange, that the country where they decided to test the Pfizer vaccine, has the highest infection rate?
Key information is missing:
1. are these serious cases, vaccinated people?
2. are these serious cases, people who never got covid before?
Well duh, when you’re testing 140,000 NEW tests daily you’ll find more cases. They’re literally testing 1.5% of the population daily.

Let me get this straight. The country with the highest vaccination rate now has the highest infection rate.
A toddler could deduce that the vaccination is therefore leading to higher infection rates. Whether it weakens the immune system or opens the door to other Covid variants is yet to be discovered but I’m assuming within a few years The long teem data will make things more clear.

Since i got the vaccine, which was a few weeks ago, I got a regular cold, rhinovirus, as the test showed.
Yet, I have been sick as a dog. Feels worse than the Flu. But it’s just rhinovirus. I can’t imagine what getting covid would feel like…..

Let me add, I have been wheezing and coughing up tons of stuff, in addition to ear pain and chest pain. But it’s just a cold. Where did my immune system go?
They are trying to convince themselves that it’s not the vaccine. But you have to be blind not to see the correlation between these experimental covid non-vaccines and the high covid rate. In fact, in the UK they are not giving these shots to young adults and children under the age of 18. Also they are not giving booster shots for the majority of the population. The UK government is honest saying that there is no definite info out yet on the covid shot to know its effects.
Remember get vaccinated! Make sure to get that third shot! Just like the first round of vaccines, it will obviously make a big difference!

The lunacy and stupidity in these comments is astounding. For a people that was supposed to have learned logic and critical thinking through Gemara, I wonder if the entire yeshiva system is a failure. Israel does not have the highest number of cases. It has a high rate of serious infection among the unvaccinated. Considering Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Florida, and Mississippi are either out of ICU beds or nearly out, and Israel is at 50%, I’d say the headline is purposefully deceptive.
The end of the aritcle is key. Almost none of the seriously ill patients are vaccinated. That’s how vaccines work. It is harder to get the virus. but if you do, your body will have the anti-bodies to fight it. And if everyone is vaccinated, then there is almost no chance of serious cases and the world can open. Because the worst Covid can do to nearly all vaccinated people is give them a cold. If the vaccine is 90% effective (it’s more like 95%), then serious cases would go from 600 to 60 or less with everyone vaccinated. 60 cases in a population of 9 million qualifies as a rare disease. And even if there are 10,000 infections, it wouldnt matter because it would result in a handful of serious cases and the hospitals would not be strained.
