COLD SHOULDER: Biden Refusing to Accept Phone Calls from Naftali Bennett

The White House has ignored multiple requests over the past three weeks from Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to speak with Joe Biden, according to Israel’s Channel 13.

Bennett is reportedly seeking an audience with Biden to discuss nuclear deal talks with Iran, currently ongoing in Vienna. However, Biden has ignored Bennett’s calls, reportedly out of anger over Israeli continued building of settlements in the West Bank.

Some analysts say they expect a phone call to eventually take place between the president and prime minister, specifically after National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan wraps up his trip to Israel.

Sullivan is currently in the Jewish State to meet with Bennett and other high-level officials to discuss the Iran talks. Sullivan is also expected to meet with PA President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah during his visit.

A Bennett spokesperson dodged when questioned whether Biden was ignoring the prime minister, saying that since an “official request” was never placed to speak with Biden, the US president wasn’t technically refusing to speak with the Israeli prime minister.

  1. If you believe it’s Biden that’s doing this, you better see a doctor. It’s the gang around him who runs the whole White House . Biden doesn’t know anything what’s going on. He’s being told what to do. Expect this kind of treatment for the next 3 years until a real president will come in. America you’re a big pity

  2. Whatever your views on the “settlement issue”, perhaps these rocket scientists would realize that for NOW, establishing a closer working relationship with the Biden administration on an existential issue such as the Iran nuclear program, is MORE important than internal coalition politics which include certain commitments on settlement expansion. Perhaps some adult leadership by the PM??

  3. This is just a continuation of the liberal approach to Israel. Remember how Obama snubbed Netanyahu? This is the same thing, maybe worse.

  4. The flaw with this news story is that a major factor in helping Bennett become Prime Minister was that he would have better relations with a Democratic president, so if Biden (and friends) throw him under the bus, they know they are much more likely to end up with Netanyahu or a Likudnik with views similar to Netanyahu. Given that the US appears to be basing its policies on those of Neville Chamberlain in 1938 (minus the military build up, which sort of justified appeasement at the time), why would Biden be undermining his preferred prime minister?

  5. I saw a great line yesterday. “Will someone please slip Biden’s resignation letter on his desk? He signs everything anyway.”

  6. Biden wouldn’t know that such a prime minister exists. He can only answer a call when his handlers give him the phone and open his Teleprompter.

  7. ” ….Biden has ignored Bennett’s calls, reportedly out of anger over Israeli continued building of settlements in the West Bank…”

Good, I do hope that PM Bennett will build more settlements in the West Bank and increase its present rate..”
