2 Israeli Tourists Murdered By Egyptian Policeman In Alexandria

Amid the war in Israel launched by Hamas terrorists, two Israeli tourists were murdered by an Egyptian police officer in the city of Alexandria on Sunday morning.

According to local media reports, an Egyptian police officer opened fire toward a bus of Israeli tourists in Alexandria, killing two of them and seriously injuring a number of others.

Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that “this morning, during a tourist visit by a group of Israelis in Alexandria, Egypt, a local opened fire on them, as a result of which two Israeli citizens and the local Egyptian guide were murdered. In addition, an Israeli was moderately injured.”

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli Embassy in Cairo are working together with the National Security Council, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the IDF with the authorities in Egypt in order to return the Israeli citizens to Israel as soon as possible,” the statement continued.

During the incident, an Israeli woman who was on the bus called her relative in Israel and yelled: “They’re shooting at our bus – people were murdered and wounded.”

According to Egyptian reports, an Egyptian citizen was killed in the shooting and another Egyptian was wounded in the gun battle between the shooter and the security forces.

Egyptian police arrested the perpetrator and have launched an investigation into the incident.
