Hamas terrorists fired a huge barrage of rockets at the Tel Aviv area early Thursday afternoon.
Sirens blared throughout central Israel, including Tel Aviv, Bnei Brak, Bat Yam, Holon, Ohr Yehudah, Givat Shmuel, Givatayim, Ganei Tikvah, Saviyon, Kiryat Ono, Ramat Gan, Be’er Yaakov, Rechovot, Nes Tziona, Hod HaSharon, Palmachim, and Rishon L’Tzion.
At least five rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome but one rocket, or at least large parts of rocket shrapnel, directly hit an apartment building in Petach Tikvah. The rocket penetrated the top floor of the building and ignited a fire. B’Chasdei Hashem, no injuries have been reported.
A large rocket part fell in a cemetery in Holon and pieces of shrapnel fell in various areas of Nes Tziona and Kiryat Ono.
