WATCH: Incredible Neis In Rishon L’Tzion: Rocket Hits Home Seconds After Family Leaves

The war raging in Israel truly attests to “אם השם לא ישמר עיר…”. If Hashem allows it, a group of lowly terrorists [with the help of Iran] can blind the eyes of Israel’s intelligence and military agencies – previously respected by the entire world.

But at the same time, Hashem’s Hashgacha over His people is apparent, with constant rockets launched at Israel day in and day out – at crowded cities in the heart of Israel. It’s simply open nissim that we’ve become accustomed to – rockets falling in “open areas,” in “fields,” “in the sea next to Tel Aviv” – that we don’t realize how much we have to thank Hakodesh Baruch Hu for protecting us.

On Wednesday night at about 10 p.m., a rocket barrage hit the Tel Aviv area, causing sirens to blare throughout central Israel. The footage below from a building security camera in Rishon L’Tzion shows one of those incredible nissim – the residents of a building, including a couple carrying their babies in their arms – leave their apartments to walk down the steps to the bomb shelter on the ground floor. [There are still many old buildings in Israel that lack safe rooms in each apartment.]

Thirty seconds later, a rocket hits the building, sending pieces of shrapnel flying everywhere. When the dust clears, a picture of the Baba Sali can be seen hanging next to the apartment from where the parents with children had emerged – untouched.

The rocket barrage on Monday night left two people in Rishon L’Tzion lightly injured by shrapnel and glass shards and two people injured in Petach Tikvah.
