EU Parliament Passes Gaza Ceasefire Resolution Attacking Both Israel And Hamas

The European Parliament has issued a resolution calling for a permanent ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict, but emphasizes that this ceasefire should only occur after all hostages are “immediately and unconditionally released” and “the terrorist organization Hamas is dismantled.”

The resolution received significant backing in the European Parliament, with 312 votes in favor, 131 against, and 72 abstentions.

Simultaneously, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) strongly condemned what they perceive as a “disproportionate Israeli military response,” which they argue has led to an unprecedented civilian death toll. In response to these concerns, they advocate for full humanitarian access throughout the Gaza Strip and propose a “European initiative to put the two-state solution back on track.” Additionally, they express support for the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative.

MEPs further assert that the “occupation of the Palestinian territories” must come to an end while emphasizing the importance of holding terrorists accountable.

The resolution also underscores MEPs’ robust support for the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice. They call for the accountability of those deemed responsible for terrorist acts and violations of international law.

  1. I don’t recognize the EU in any sense at all……a room filled with cowards. Fat and disturbed people, not human at all……the Din of Hashem is on us and no where in the world would I ever compromise my soul, NO ONE BACKS , NO ONE REMOVES THE HEAD FOR DEATH OR COMMERCE…..PERIOD…..Hashem remove all of our troubles as fast as possible so that we may bring down the Third Temple…today….there remains no good Muslim

  2. several contradictions in this statement: Permanent ceasefire but Hamas to be dismantled..
2 state “solution” but terrorists to be held accountable…
2 state “solution” and Arab initiative – well it was the Arabs who continuously rejected a 2-states i.e. refuse to recognise Israel

In other words, those burocrates have no idea what’s going on in the Middle East and who we are dealing with.
