The IDF has announced the death of Staff Sgt. Sahar Sudaei, 20, from Tel Aviv, of the Givati Brigade’s Rotem Battalion, during clashes with terrorists in northern Gaza today.

His death brings the total number of soldiers killed in the ongoing offensive against Hamas to 288.

Additionally, a reservist from the LOTAR Eilat unit was seriously injured in a separate incident in the southern Gaza Strip.
