*Today, Sunday, is day 82 of the virtual Gaza ceasefire.

*Today is Gilad Shalit’s 805th day in Hamas captivity.

*A 12 inch pipe bomb was discovered near a rear entrance to Yishuv Itamar in Shomron. Bomb demolition technicians detonated the device in a controlled explosion without incident.

*IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron on Saturday night arrested 13 suspects. The suspects were turned over to security authorities for interrogation.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*Yaakov Guterman will be appointed as head of Kiryat Sefer Council without holding municipal elections.

*Two people were injured in a brawl in a Givat Shmuel shul on Shabbos. The extent of their injuries is not known.

*672 illegals were apprehended by border police in a nationwide campaign. Also arrested were seven employers, and 33 Israelis who provided them transportation. Two of the PA residents were detained for questioning. Nine others are wanted by security forces. The remainder is sent back over the Green Line.

*Jerusalem City Hall in conjunction with the Ministry of Environmental Affairs is planning a major cleanup project for the Har HaZeisim area in an effort to rid the area of construction debris and other litter.
