The IDF has announced that they have killed of Muhammad Kamel Naim, the head of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force’s anti-tank missile unit, in a targeted airstrike in Nabatiyeh, southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, Naim was responsible for directing anti-tank missile fire into Israel.

The IDF released footage of the strike that eliminated Naim. The attack comes in response to a barrage of rockets fired by Hezbollah into northern and central Israel earlier in the day. While some rockets were intercepted by Israel’s missile defense systems, others landed in open areas, causing no reported injuries.

Following the rocket fire, the IAF retaliated by targeting the rocket launchers used in the attack.
