A 19-year-old Jenin resident was apprehended by border police in Yerushalayim. He was taken for interrogation.  There were no injuries.

Authorities reported early Monday afternoon that the suspect was concealing a knife, and he was also carrying a letter stating he wished to become a “Shahid” (Martyr).

Police report the arrest prevented an attack in the capital.
