According to Yemenite President Ali Abdullah Saleh, his forces have successfully dismantled a terror cell which he claims is linked to Israeli intelligence services.

The report from foreign news agencies states six days ago, members of the terror cell were taken into custody, adding the group was operating under the banner of �Slogan of Islam�.

The president announced the members of the cell would be brought to trial swiftly, on numerous charges including cooperating with Israeli intelligence agencies.

The announcement was made as President Saleh addressed members of parliament and military officers.
