SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Today, Monday, is day 118 of the virtual Gaza ceasefire.

*Today is Gilad Shalit’s 841st day in Hamas captivity.

*Four bombs were detected by IDF soldiers and safely neutralized near Kissufim Crossing on the Gaza border on Sunday.

*9 pipe bombs were detected among the tools being carried by three PA residents inspected at the Beit Iba Checkpoint west of Shechem on Sunday night. The suspects were taken into custody. The bombs were detonated in controlled explosions.

*A closure was placed on PA areas in Yehuda and Shomron on Sunday night. It will be lifted on Tuesday if the security situation permits. During the closure, PA residents are prohibited from entering pre-1967 Green Line Israel.
