mishtara5.jpgBorder policeman Daniel Motza, 32, is reported in moderate/stable condition in Yerushalayim’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds in the Thursday morning stabbing attack (reported HERE on YWN) in which one man was murdered – 86-year-old Avraham Ozeri. Ozeri HY”D, a resident of Gilo, was buried on Thursday night.

Also hospitalized in Hadassah is the terrorist, Mohammad al-Badan, a 21-year-old resident of Tuqwa, an Arab village near Yishuv Tekoa in Eastern Gush Etzion. Authorities report he was apprehended on a number of occasions inside pre-1967 Green Line Israel without a permit. He was also involved in violence inside Green Line Israel.

Amos Oz (not related to the author), the son of Avraham HY”D told the media his father was loved by all. He was widowed 10 years ago and has six grandchildren from himself and his sister. Many athletes were on hand to pay their last respects to the elderly victim, who was a marathon runner and in good shape until his last breath. Amos stated there was not a marathon race taking place without his father taking part.

Mr. Ozeri was also a former fighter in the Lechi during pre-state Israel and Amos stated that whenever one spoke with his dad, his profound love for Eretz Yisrael would become evident.
