Anti-Blockade Boat Vows to Dock in Hamas-Controlled Gaza

Israel this time around appears to be less accommodating, having decided it will not permit the self-proclaimed “humanitarian aid boat”, which left Cyprus on Tuesday, to dock in Hamas-controlled Gaza. Foreign Ministry officials announced the boat will not be permitted into Israeli waters.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Yossi Levy explains that boat has absolutely nothing to do with humanitarian aid.

The Larnaca set sell for Gaza on Tuesday, carrying 27 passengers from 13 countries, once again seeking to embarrass Israel and bring the wrath of the international community against Israel for continuing the embargo on Gaza.

No one associated with the good-will boat has released any messages regarding concerns for the release of captive IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.
