Hundreds attended the Shabbos HaGadol drasha delivered by HaGaon HaRav Moshe Shternbuch on Thursday night in the main Beis Medrash of the Dushinsky chassidus in Jerusalem.
With a voice filled with pain, HaRav Shternbuch addressed the security situation and declared: “The Chazon Ish already said: ‘I’m not afraid of the bombs; I’m afraid of Chillul Shabbos because that’s what brings the bombs.’ And today as well—we’re not afraid of the missiles from Iran; we’re afraid only of the leaders here who defile the Am Hashem and are trying to take bochurim to an army filled with kefirah and apikorsus.”
“These criminals don’t understand that the entire world stands on the Torah shel tinokus shel beis rabban. This is the Churban of the world itself!”
The Rav then shared a chilling family memory from the war years in Russia, when his family in Minsk maintained a clandestine yeshiva under an oppressive regime, risking their lives for limmud Torah until they were exiled to Siberia. “We must stand firm with complete mesirus nefesh, without any compromise,” he said.
Rav Sternbuch also directed harsh criticism at those who enter Har HaBayis in violation of halacha: “There are those who provoke the nations and ignite flames of hatred. About this, it is said: ‘Who asked this of you, to trample My courtyards?’ This is an unnecessary and dangerous provocation, and we must protest it with full force.”

What about being moicha on gay parades throughout Israel. Turning Israel into Sodom is far worse than even going on the har habayis. Har habayis is only kores and mishkav zachor is skillah.
Sadly השם has retaliated vis a vis הר-הבית desecration by pretty much cordoning access even to the כותל and even limiting the bi annual ברכת-כהנים to just 50 people השם-ירחם as was reported on YWN earlier today
Obviously he is talking about inzer

Yes, “אין העולם מתקיים אלא בשביל הבל תינוקות של בית רבן”
However isn’t understable that people would wonder why a quote about tinokos would apply to 18-yr-olds (up to 45-yr-olds)?
Perhaps this needs to be explained.
Dear HaGaon HaRav Moshe Shternbuch,
Thank you.

“…’only’ Kareis” as opposed to “Skilah”?
Skilah is a form of physical death, with the soul remaining intact afterwards. On the other hand, Kareis means (not only an early death but) that the soul is cut off for eternity, R”L L”A.

If all the adults were CH”V shmaded in the heretics’ army, then there would be no rabbeim to teach those pure children. Regardless, the adults’ Torah learning certainly is also important for all, even if the children’s Torah learning is greater in some sense.
Sadly the sinful Behavior going on in ey does not cease, and it is well known that sins carry much more weight there. Even if within our circles there is more Torah and observance than ever, the secular majority is destroying the land with their repulsiveness and we are all taking a hit for it
I’m sure Moreinu shlita knows that his Rebbe the Brisker Rav ztl said that whenever there are gezeiros the source of the gezeiros is not with the other side but only with us, that it is our weakness in some particular mitzva or avoda that gives them the koach to make gezeiros against that mitzva or avoda and the only way to fix the gezeiros is to fix our own weakness. Does anyone know, or can anyone ask him, how this basic principle applies in the present situation?

Skillah is worse as it comes from beis din and once the earthly beis din rules the death penalty, not amount of tsuvah will help cancel it. But kores comes from Heaven. And the Almighty can cancel it if a person does tsuvah.

The reason religious communities are getting hit with missles is because they did not protest the making of a sodomite society in Israel. If you don’t protest and aren’t mocha the gemorah openly states you are accused of the sin. As long as we don’t protest about shabbos public violations, gay parades and the tattoo shops then all the learning will not save us. Great sages in the gemorah were labeled as violators of shabbos laws because they did not speak up about a neighbors shabbos violation. This is not chassidisha meiosis or Neturei karta philosophy. This is the gemorah in shabbos.
Does anyone know where I could get a recording of this drasha? The people who are involved with printing his drashas don’t seem to have a copy. If YWN has a copy, can you please contact me?
