Israeli Security forces foiled a major infiltration attempt after discovering approximately 60 Palestinians hiding inside a garbage truck at a crossing in the Shomron.
According to the Defense Ministry, security inspectors became suspicious of the truck, which arrived from Palestinian Authority areas and was headed toward central Israel. IDF forces were called in to assist.
During a search of the truck’s waste compartment, dozens of individuals were found concealed inside, attempting to enter Israel illegally.
The driver, a man in his 30s from Kafr Qasim without a valid license, was detained for questioning. The suspects were taken into custody and questioned at the scene by police and IDF personnel.

What a waste of Israeli manpower. The whole problem could have been solved by asking the “innocent” driver to switch the truck to tip the load up and crush down the rubbish.
Interesting that the compactor didn’t work especially when there was genuine refuse in there.
Shew! The arabs incinerate their garbage! Could you imagine if Israel did too? Also, I’m surprised the U.N. didn’t yet condemn Israel for abusing these arabs. How dare they put them into a garbage truck! Where’s the ICC?
They were in the right place, garbage belongs in the garbage truck to be carted to the dump. The employers of these illegal workers should be heavily fined, with escalating punishment including prison sentences and expropriation of assets. We need to make it extraordinarily expensive to break the law.
