Dozens of demonstrators were on hand outside of Shikma Prison on Wednesday demanding the release of Gilad Shalit from Hamas custody.

The participants in the event pointed out that the Hamas prisoners in Shikma receive visits from family members and representatives of the Red Cross, while Shalit, who is being held by Hamas for over two years, is not permitted to have any visitors, not event International Red Cross representatives to permit them to evaluate his medical and psychological state.
