Boim Calling for IDF Operation in Gaza Now

Housing Minister (Kadima) Ze’ev Boim on Monday called for an immediate IDF operation in Gaza to bring a halt to rocket attacks into southern Israeli areas. Boim wants the IDF to move into Gaza immediately, before the end of the ceasefire at the end of this week. He explains that the so-called ceasefire seems to permit Hamas to attack Israel with impunity. Even worse, while Israel exercises restraint Hamas is training and building up its military abilities in preparation for the next military confrontation with the IDF.

Boim stated the government is obligated to protect residents of the Greater Sderot Area, and this can only be accomplished by a major IDF operation in Gaza.
