The reported shooting attack near Itamar on motzei Shabbos was not an attack but a soldier’s weapon discharging accidentally.

**The body of an elderly female was discovered in a building site on Ben-Maimon Street in Jerusalem on Sunday morning. Police are inspecting to see if the body is that of a female who was reported missing a number of days ago.

**A number of people were lightly injured as a result of a floor collapse in a school near Givati parking lot in Jerusalem’s Old City. Initial reports speak of three females being treated for hysteria in the mishap in the eastern area of the capital.

**As of 11:15am, 8 mortar shells and Kassam rockets landed in southern Israel on Sunday.

**Former NRP (Mafdal) MK Shaul Yahalom and correspondent Chaggai Huberman have launched the “Matzav HaRuach” newspaper. Yahalom told Israel Radio on Sunday the weekly will distribute “thousands of copies”.

**Assailants entered the Rahat Interior Ministry office and assaulted the security guard and tried to grab his weapon. The guard overpowered the assailants who fled the scene. Police are investigating.

**22 people have been killed on Israel’s roadways since January 1, 2009.
