Perhaps one of the more striking pre-election photos is the one with Binyamin Netanyahu seated at the side of Yuval Rabin, son of the late prime minister, Yitzchak Rabin.
In a surprising move, the younger Rabin announced his support for Netanyahu, who before his fathers assassination was perhaps his most vociferous political adversary.
When asked to comment on the strange political union, Dalia Rabin, Yuvals sister, declined to give a statement.

On both security and religious issues, Yitzchak Rabin was to the “right” (more hawkish, less anti-Torah), than the current leaders of Labor and Kadimah. Not a real hiddush.
