Until it’s final it’s not final but for now, it appears that former IDF chief, Moshe Ya’alon, will become the next defense minister. Likud’s Gideon Saar will serve as education minister. Others in line to serve as ministers include Dan Meridor, Benny Begin, Gilad Erdan, Yuval Shteinitz, Silvan Shalom, Limor Livnat, Moshe Kahlon and Yisrael Katz. If another minister is appointed from Likud, then Yuli Edelstein will also receive a cabinet post.

Other cabinet posts remaining for Likud officials include vice premier, transportation, industry & trade, transportation, environmental affairs, health, Negev & Galil development, pensioner affairs, bridging the PM’s Office & Knesset and most analysts believe the prime minister will hold the finance portfolio as well, wishing to personally address the economic issues that are so dominant during the current crisis.
