Two children are hospitalized as a result of two separate dog attacks over the weekend.

In one incident, a 2-year-old from Netanya is in serious condition after being attacked by the family pet, a German shepherd. The victim�s parents were asleep, awakened by their son�s cries for assistance. The child remains in Wolfson Hospital. The dog has been impounded by city officials.

In the second attack, a 9-year-old Kfar Saba resident is in moderate condition in Petach Tikvah�s Schneider Children�s Hospital. He was attacked by two amstaffs owned by a neighbor. The boy entered the neighbor�s yard to retrieve his ball. In this case as well, the dogs have ben impounded by authorities.
