In an interview with the Qatari Al-Shark newspaper, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad stated �all Israeli leaders are the same,� explaining that Ariel Sharon �massacred Palestinians and Barak had the war in Gaza�, stating the left and right in Israel are one.

Assad, who recently repeated peace overtures to the incoming Israeli administration added that one day, �through peaceful means or war� Syria will return to the Golan Heights.

The White House has exhibited an anxiousness to establish a dialogue with Damascus, contrary to Israel�s interests, while Assad feeds the new American administration by releasing the appropriate statements as he continues to support Hamas and Hizbullah terror.
