Israeli Arab citizen 23-year-old Hussein Hamada of the Galil remains missing in Italy following Monday’s earthquake.  His father, Dr. Amin Hamada was planning to leave for Italy on Tuesday morning in an effort to get real time updates on the situation. Family members told the media Israeli diplomatic officials were not updating them as often as they would like, expressing concerns for their son.

Foreign Ministry officials insist they are doing everything to learn of the whereabouts of the missing Israelis, stating that initially following the earthquake, the whereabouts of tens of citizens were not known and during the day they managed to track down most of them, emphasizing they will continue doing everything possible to locate all missing citizens and inform their families of their ongoing efforts and progress.
