The growing drug trade across the Lebanese border with Israel is generating enormous amounts of cash, cash that is being used to fund terrorism.

Hizbullah earlier in the month announced candidates for Lebanons June election, part of the terror organizations move to seek legitimacy in the eyes of the international community. Simultaneously however, Hizbullah continues promoting its drug trade, narco terror that not only generates considerable amounts of cash to fund terrorism, but also plaguing Israeli society with the ills associated with drug trade and addiction.

From Israels point of view, no less troublesome than the constant Hizbullah missile threat is the increasing drug activity over her northern border, a reality that results in 4 tons of heroin entering into Israel from Lebanon annually.

Israel Police Chief of Narcotics Division Gal Ben-Ish explains daily efforts exerted along the border include nightly stakeouts in the hope of apprehended dealers.

Ben-Ish explains that much of the revenue generated from the drug smuggling operation finances missiles attacks and other Hizbullah terrorism against Israel.
